Book Review: Life, In Spite of Me

Jesus has the power to transform lives--that's clear from the myriad of accounts in Scripture to my own life as well.  That's also the most obvious (to me) change in Kristen Anderson's life.  The first half of the book recounts her suicide attempt at 17 and the events leading up to it.  However, when she meets Jesus (though she previously thought she'd been a Christian because she was "a good person), there's an obvious change.  I noticed that pre-Jesus, most of the sentences in the book started with "I" and were very self-focused, but after Jesus, that changed.

And not only was Kristen's life changed, but the lives of her family as well.  Just another example of how one person can make a difference.
